The first thing I thought of was “mafia tactics” when I read this article. Coming from a Chicago style thug it makes perfect sense that this thought process would even be brought up. We have never negotiated with terrorists, why are we now paying them to “pretend” that they have changed and therefore provide more money for their attacks? When asked “what do you think this Country is coming to” my reply is simply “an end”.
